          Sam Mantos, 80, 712 Sherman Ave, was found dead at his home at 11 a.m. Thursday.  He apparently died of natural causes.

          His body was taken to the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, where arrangements are incomplete.

          The funeral for Sam Christ Mantos, 80, 712 Sherman Ave., was held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home.  The Rev. Stanley Murdoch officiated.  Ruth McCabe was organist.  Burial was in the South Side Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Dale Campbell, Louis Kindelberger, Wallace Schultz, Gleen Durham, H. E. Vogelsinger Jr. and Virgil Turk.  Mr. Mantos died Thursday.

          The funeral of Sam Christ Mantos, 80, will be held at 11 a.m. at the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home.  The Rev. Stanley Murdoch will officiate.  Burial will be in South Side Cemetery.

          Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at he funeral home.  Mr. Mantos, 812 Sherman Ave, died Thursday at this home.

          He was born Dec 5, 1898, in Lavidium, Greece.  He married Hazel Denning May 4, 1925 in Chicago.  She died in 1976.  He was a cook in a Greek restaurant in Chicago for many years before moving to Pontiac in 1960.

          Surviving is a sister, Paula George of Chicago. He was preceded in death by a sister.
