ROSNECK, WILLIAM (CARL): Hi Annette- I was browsing your Livingston Cty, Illinois webpage and thought you might be able to advise me. My
grandfather, (Carl) William Rosneck, was a barber in Pontiac in 1915-1916 according to Illinois barber registration records. His eldest daughter, Ruth,
was born in Illinois, probably in Pontiac as well (although the Livingston County Clerk could not
find a record). He may have also been married in Livingston Cty
as well. Does the County Courthouse have marriage records for these dates? What library
might have a good collection of Pontiac city directories for this time period? Are there other
sources of information that I might check? Are there any researchers who might
search for this information for me for free or a fee? Sincerely, KAREN ROSNECK 12/3/98
