Text Box: • Birth records from 1865 • death records from 1878 • Marriage records from 1837 The search fees are $5.00 for a ten year search, then $1.00 per year after that, per name to be searched.  The $5.00 fee is non-refundable but does include one genealogy copy of the record if located.  If we are provided with an exact date for the record, the cost is $3.00 for one copy and there is no search fee.  Out-of-country requests must provide payment in U.S. dollars. Because of limited staff, individuals with requests for searches of multiple family members with no dates available will be referred to agencies who provide this type of service.  Presently, we refer people to the Lexington Genealogical Society and D

The staff at the County Clerk's office are willing to assist you, however their staff is limited in size and since we ask them to help us , let’s be willing to help them as well and provide them with as much specific information as we can, so they can more easily search for your ancestor.
